I just finished a TAB Board meeting where we used a problem solving model to be clear about what problem we are solving before we jump to the solution. How many times have we “solved” a problem only to figure out down the road that our solution didn’t work because we hadn’t  properly identified the right problem?

Not only did the TAB member who’s problem we worked on feel good, but the others either felt that they solved a similar problem in their business or found another issue to solve using this model as soon as they returned to the office. Fantastic.

Here is Lacey Bowman of East Main St Insurance – talking about her experience with her TAB Board.  BTW: Lacey Loves Insurance!
